Epik High First US Concert at SF

Hooray! Their first concert was yesterday!  I attended it with a bunch of my friends and it was great!

I got balcony seats with a friend, and the rest of them got floor seats, [le sigh].

First, their opening act was the fear East Movement.  It was great because they got the place to go into high energy Although i have to say personally im not that big of a fan of theirs.  Their songs are catchy but very repetitive. NO like they say the same line over, but more like ALL the song were very similar in their base.  But they were pretty cool and had a cute spaceman theme going on. :D

Second, the next act was of Kero one and to other people.  I havent heard of him before but he had a mellow way of doing his songs/raps. My favorite though were his accompaniments.  A guy who sang and played a piano/guitar, and a girl who had the most gorgeous voice.  I dunno their names but WHOOHOO! Kero had great writes but delivery was kinda…meeeh.

FINALLY, Epik High came out and of course the cowd went wild.  :D .  yaaay! I dont really know the members that well but i have been listening to their songs for a while thanks to my friend, lol.  At first they came out with motly High Society and Map the soul songs i think.  At this point everyone was just waving their glow sticks while stading up.  I mean most of the audience didn’t sit down since they came out.  I was one of them . :D , didnt wanna miss anything.  Their first songs were the rap songs. Table talked the majority of the time because of his frisco fluent english, and mithra put in a few comments.  And I only remember DJ Tukutz saying one word: “Awesome”.  he called us awesome for being his first US live audience, whoohoo! And then thats when things started going crazy when they did “ONE”.  They started out with a piano melody which a few recognized, and then as soon as he started rapping everyone was like “OH EM GEE! ITS ONE!!!”. I was of course one of them, lol. This was when they started doing the more mainstream and popular songs.  What can I say, it’s the ones that spread the farthest among the dense crowd female fans world wide.  I.E. they did “1min,1sec”, “fly”, “map the soul(both versions)”, “love love love”, “fan”,”fallin’ “,  and etc.  OH YEAH! they also performed with MYK which was great.  Although his first beatbox sequence seems to be done by every beatboxer in the world.  Nakamaru from Japan’s Arashi also did it, and so did the French’s Human beatbox did it too.  Maybe its a beatboxer thing, i wouldn’t know, lol.  With all that moving I lost my sunglasses once, and got my glowstick hooked on something else on the my body twice. It was amazing.  :D .  Its the next day and I’m sore.  I wonder how my friend’s voice is, LOL.  She was screaming at almost all the epik high songs.  Shes a waaay bigger fan than i am. :D

RANDOME STUFFE

fans went crazy and some even tried to climb the stage.  poor security guards.  tablo spit and threw water on the audience which everyone happy. when tablo jumped down from the stage, thats when all fans broke lose.[onvid 14of the playlist later].  It was fun watching fans sing along with the songs. a fan had a sign that was something like ” i wanna suck your 고추” or was it ” let’s f*ck”, lol. either way it was pretty bad. yeah, it was all goood.

I hope you all go to their other concerts and support them.  I think they have 3 concerts left in the US: LA, Seattle(?), and NY.

Watch this and follow the playlist. :D [videos arent mine and it seems some parts are missing]
